Wanted Items - Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Sangamon-Menard Unit are looking for items for their Garden Shed sale, which will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17 at the Extension Office (State Fairgrounds Building 30). Garden-related items - including tools, yard ornaments, books, plants and vases - are being collected for the sale. Donations from neighbors, family or friends who may be moving, downsizing or getting rid of unwanted clutter in their garage or basement would be appreciated. All items need to be clean and functional, since they are sold "as is". For questions or to donate items to the sale, call the Extension office at 782-4617. Persons unable to transport the item(s) can contact Lori Dodwell (698-5374) or Diana Hetherington (546-5984) to arrange pickup and transportation. Proceeds from the sale will be used for Master Gardener community projects.
