08/09/08- Bulbs wanted – Springfield Green wants to take your extra daylily and tulip bulbs off your hands. Pardon Me Daylilies, Stella d’Oro Daylilies and Red Oxford Tulips are our favorites for 2009. Contact green@springfield.il.us for drop-off information.

07/07/08 - Shade perennial groundcover available. Pachysandra (Japanese Spurge) starts available. This evergreen groundcover spreads aggressively and grows best in part-deep shade. Won’t invade established turf, so works well as a border also. Leaves are a leathery green with jagged edges. Grows 6-8 inches high. Alisha Anker 321-1332 (days) or Alisha.Anker@cwlp.com.
