The 2010 Springfield In Bloom is Closed!

There are two ways to participate in Springfield in Bloom:

  • Enter a new street-side landscaping project in the Makeover Category
  • Enter an existing street-side landscaping project

Five Categories – each open to NEW and EXISTING projects

  • Residential
  • Business
  • Neighborhood
  • Non-Profit
  • Makeover

Judging - A panel of judges will review entries and determine finalists (no online voting this year) Judging will take place the last two weeks in July and onsite visits may occur to see projects up closer. Winners in the 2009 contest may enter but will not be eligible to win gift certificates in 2010.

Prizes - Farmer’s Market gift certificates and other prizes will be awarded to this year’s winners

(Please note: all garden areas must be visible from the street)

Display our colorful yard sign! We encourage the owner of each property entered in the Springfield in Bloom program to display one of our official yard signs.  This will help call attention to the program and might inspire additional entries in your neighborhood. Signs are available to those entering at Illinois Times (1320 South State) 753-2226.
